Trinamool Congress convened an emergency meeting on Saturday morning near the residences of party leaders Derek O'Brien, with Kunal Ghosh at the center of discussions. The party aims to address the ongoing controversy surrounding Ghosh amidst the ongoing elections. Reports suggest that the meeting, which included leaders Bratya Bose, Derek O'Brien, was convened on the instructions of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Bratya Bose reportedly transported Kunal Ghosh to Derek's residence for the meeting, indicating the significance of the discussions. Following the meeting, Kunal Ghosh affirmed his allegiance to the Trinamool Party, stating, "I was and will remain a member of Trinamool Party."
